Frequently Asked Questions
Is skin coaching the same as a facial?
No. Skin coaching is educational and consultative. There is no hands-on treatment or extractions. The focus is on understanding your skin, improving your routine, and making informed product and lifestyle choices.
Do you work with teens?
Yes. Skin coaching is available for all ages. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian must be present during the session and included in communication.
Can you help with acne, rosacea, or eczema?
I can provide education and routine guidance for acne-prone or sensitive skin. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. If you are under the care of a dermatologist or using prescription products, coaching will support — not replace — medical care.
Do you only recommend organic products?
I prioritize organic and low-toxic options when appropriate, but my recommendations are always based on what works best for your skin, lifestyle, and budget. I also work with products you already own.
Do I have to buy products through you?
No. Product recommendations are optional. You are never required to purchase through me, and I’m happy to suggest alternatives if you prefer to shop elsewhere.
What if I’m on a tight budget?
That’s completely okay. We will build a routine that fits your budget and focus on consistency over buying more products. Simple exercises are often the most effective.
How long does it take to see results?
Every skin journey is different. Some clients notice improvements within a few weeks, while others need more time. Consistency, lifestyle, and individual skin biology all play a role. Skin coaching focuses on sustainable, long-term results — not quick fixes.
Can I message you anytime?
You can send messages anytime through the designated platform. Messages are answered during business hours within 24–48 hours. This helps ensure thoughtful, consistent support.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
Yes, in-person skin coaching is available for local clients. Availability is limited and must be booked in advance.
What if I’m pregnant or trying to conceive?
Pregnancy-safe and hormone-aware skincare guidance is available. Always inform me if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding so recommendations can be adjusted appropriately.
What do I need to prepare for a virtual session?
Please complete the intake form and upload clear, makeup-free photos prior to your session. You’ll also want to have your current skincare products nearby if possible.
Is this covered by insurance?
No. Skin coaching is an educational service and is not covered by insurance.
What if I need medical help?
If your skin concerns require medical evaluation, I will always encourage you to work with a licensed dermatologist or healthcare provider.
